FRIENDS OF THE BRADEN RIVER LIBRARY
For a small donation you can become a member of Friends of the Braden River Library. We are a relatively small non-profit Corporation staffed by volunteers working exclusively alongside the Braden River Library staff to promote and pay for programs and events at this Library.
What Events and Programs do the Friends pay for? Some of the programs we have funded are:
Youth Programs including:
- Professional Storytellers
- Professional Bubble Show
- Mote Aquarium visit
- Bishop Science Center visit
- Professional Puppet Show
- Puppet-making workshop
- “Mad Science”
Adult Programs including:
- Yoga Classes
- Plays by the Arts Alliance Play Readers (formerly Asolo…..)
- Art Lectures
- History Lectures
- Painting Classes
- Various Professional Lectures
While these programs are of no cost to patrons, they are expensive. Please help the Friends continue to fund these programs with your generous donations. Support from people like you is essential.

- Equipment & Supplies for the Maker Space
- Repainting Book Trucks
- Materials for Outdoor Garden

- Admittance to the Members Only Pre-Sale of our twice annual book sales of more than 1,000 books, CD’s, DVD’s, puzzles and more.
Please understand that neither the Library, County nor State pay for these events and programs. The Friends of Braden River Library does.
